mud, You can look to history, and records that are out there. Or you can talk to people you know and meet. There are a lot of familys in our land and each one has a history. and the lead you might pick up from one of them likely will be new with few knowing of it, and that's what you want. People in the old days buried stuff, but there's even more being buried today. Get a lead and research it out. Good Luck.

Your library probably had at least one book on the history of your county, and odds are there's a buried treasure story in it.
