Box Finds 7/17/09

Picked up four half dollar boxes and four dime boxes today.
Two of the dime boxes were skunks and the other two had one Rosie apiece.

I've been on a mini silver streak this month having out done April, May, and June. My last 14 Half boxes only gave up three keepers but I was feeling lucky.
Could not wait to get at those half boxes

11 Keepers may not sound like much, but that is the most I have gotten out of a box since March.

For me that would be a great box. I went through my weekly four boxes yesterday. First 3 were skunks last one had three 40 % which was good for me. I may up my weekly order to 6 or 8 boxes. The teller that orders them for me said he has no problem ordering as many as I want.

as i have found out the key is volume, volume volume. the days of getting 20 keepers per box are long gone...at least around here anyway.

You are right about volume. The problem for me is getting rid of that volume.

Best to work up to that slowly- too much too fast might get ya nothin. I get 8 a week from 2 different banks, 6 a week from a couple more and 2 a week from others. I would like to consolidate and only pickup where I can get 4 or more but some banks ain't gonna do it. HH Mark
