Nice Score! As you can see, I'm new to posting here but have been doing this for a while now so don't be afraid your post has started me into CRHing in Alabama or anything like that. I was just wondering if you knew of anyone else on here that hunts Bama? Dont worry, the fartherest I've ever came in your area is Roanoke and Alexander City, and that is very rare for me to travel that far. Mostly I stay in Talladega and Calhoun Counties. Again, Congrats!

I wish I had the money to order that many boxes, I only go through several hundred a week,and pull minimal amounts of silver. It's nice to see people having big scores though. I can't wait till I get a haul even a quarter that size. Congrats!

hey mc there are a few people in alabama on here, the only one i can name is alabamadan and i have not heard from him in a while. there are several people who troll here but i don't know the exact amount of folks from alabama. i can tell you that there are several hunters here. i mainly cover my area of chambers county and i make frequent trips to lagrange and columbus georgia. i do sometimes go to roanoke, but there are only 3 banks there and the wachovia won't sell coin to me bacause i don't have an account there. a teller at the bank of wedowee in roanoke told me there is a "little ol man" that comes around every week and sucks up everything they have. i have never gotten anything to speak of from roanoke or wedowee. i have hunted anniston and oxford with good results but it's all hit and miss. my best road trip was up 431 towards dadeville and birmingham, but i have not been up there in about 6 months. i mainly do boxes and don't road trip that much. i have gotten more silver doing the boxes. keep me posted on your finds up your way. pm me anytime. good luck

Yeah, Roanoke hasn't done a thing for me either and it's really too far to go regularly especially for just a few banks. I've stopped ordering boxes until after the New Year to pursue road trips in hopes of grabbing up what people are cashing in to pay for Christmas and such. But I am not even close to pushing the volume you are. I don't have any standing orders for halves, but will buy 2 or 4 boxes sometimes. Good luck to you as well, and I'll post my finds here too from now on.
