If you have a bunch of rolls of coins that you want to exchange for bills, the best place to take them is convenience stores and the best day to do it is on Sunday in the afternoon. Convenience stores go through an incredible amount of change and banks are not open on Sunday. If they run out the cashier must ask each customer if they have exact change. They are very gratefull if you go in on a sunday afternoon with rolls of pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters. They may even want to buy your one dollar bills. They wouldn't be interested in half dollars though.
