Asked one of my pick-up banks yesterday if I could order a box of halves, they said no prob, but they have a limit of one per week. Should be here today, may not come in til tomorrow though, can't wait for the call. Would love to find my first 90%er!! Will post the results after the hunt.

Well I got what I was hoping for, my first 90% Half, woohoooo!!! Also bagged a 40%er, I'm so glad that my first box wasn't a skunk. We'll see how dumping goes, might take them up on the one per week offer.

Re: Graduation day!!

Good luck! I still remember my first box too. It was only a few months ago :icon_thumleft:

I'm stepping up my order to 6 boxes for the first time this week. It will be my first time with more than 2 boxes in hand at once. I'm using some tuition money before I have to spend it on tuition next semester :laughing7: then I'll prob be down to 1 box at a time doh

Re: Graduation day!!

My first box of half dollars in January of this year, had a 1964 obverse ender! hyped me up so much. The box contained 1x 1964 kennedy(ender) and 6 other 40% coins...

Then followed 6 skunk boxes.

You just never know. Good luck! :icon_sunny:
