IT really is out there. This came out of $50 CWR. Teller #1 was telling me how she collects... as Teller #2 went to the back to get the 5 rolls. Teller #2 plops them down as I was dealing with Teller #1, and she says "wow they say 1969 - New" as they were labeled that.

It was at a bank where I didnt hold an account. "Please please please dont hold them from me", Im thinking, as obviously the spark in her voice knew what they were.

I got out to the car and the writing held true on the 2 rolls with 1969-New!! All 1969's what seems to be a collection since 1969!!!! The white roll was also from Watertown, WI...did not have writing on it, but contained all 1965's-New!! Was a great suprise when I opened it.

This is my SECOND time getting 3 solid rolls at once! What a rush. Enjoy the pics.

*Updated* I just found the link where I hit my other Solid score. http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,423732.msg3021676.html#msg3021676

Makes up for the crappy boxes there. I need to get some more CWRs... My numbers have gone down significantly since I have been searching only boxes as of late. I am convinced that u are way more likely to get big scores from CWRs any more than boxes.

Congrats on your silver rush! Feels good, don't it? (better than heroin!)

thanks man. I was waiting to see what your response would be. lol.

I'll tell ya what, these uncirculated edges are fine looking. I am tempted to line all these suckers up and take a close up at what an uncirculated edge looks like as my pics didnt capture it. Ive went back and opened these up several times already since this afternoon.

It's like I have a Viagra silver boner that wont subside and it's been 4 hours already. ha

Makes me wonder if CWR's are out there and some make it passed tellers and eventually into boxes, why are the AZ boxes so bad? Have you gotten a lot of success with CWR's?

Almost all my halves are from CWR here. I have found a total of 7 in boxes since May. JF from Phoenix has been hunting for a few years here and has said the same thing, boxes dont produce.

So I am utterly baffled at why. I have challenged anyone reading that hunts in Phoenix to say otherwise and prove me wrong...but nothing. I would love to know the reasoning for dry boxes here.

Dime boxes produce fine for me...just not halves. ???

I see the coin wrappers labeled Watertown, WI quite often here in WI. It is just the paper that is from Watertown, WI. The coin could be rolled anywhere. I suspect that the wrapper also said "Brandt Inc." on it - that is a coin sorter MFG in Watertown.
