2011 Kennedy's

Hi,
I'm a newbie in the CRH world. I just picked up 7 rolls of halfs and they were all 2011 non-proofs.

Are these keepers?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Great! Thanks for the information.

Local bank said they had 7 rolls of halves available and I was surprised to see brand new coins. I was looking for silver but this is a pretty good start on my collection.

Do not open them. Keep them or try e-bay.

If I find 2011 in circulation I dump them. I do not keep Clad.

are the 2011's you found still in the original mint wrappers? It seems odd to find 7 solid rolls of current year halves if they weren't still in the original blue and white wrappers but who knows why people do what they do.

Anyway if they are still in the original mint wrappers that's even better because those would still be in unc. condition and still being in the mint wrappers gives them a little collectible value too. I found my 1st 2011 half in a box just last week but so far that's the 1st one for me.

Unfortunately they were not in their original wrappers. Still flawless coins so I'm going to keep a roll of each.
