The Last Four Weeks Of Halves-Almost Produced Nothing....

During the last four weeks of roll searching, I have searched eight boxes of halves. Each box turned up no keepers until the last box! The last box finally gave up:

1941 Walker

10-40% Sliver Kennedy Halves

1981S Proof

2000S Proof

I also found a really odd half, and I've never seen one like it before. At first I thought someone drew lines on Kennedy's face but this isn't the case. I tried to rub them off and they are in the metal,so I guess it's some sort of error coin, but what kind is it ???

Good results Pennyworth! Glad you didn't go 0-for-September!

Not sure what that "error" is. Could be a grease stain that was on the original planchet that got struck into the design when the die hit it.

Could it be toning?? I've had some halves with some really weird colors toned on them.

And by the way, congratulations on that box. Hope it makes up for the bad ones.
