I handed her $3000 in cash for my 6 boxes. She said "Give me $7.05 more". I gave her $7.05, no questions asked.

The six boxes were all skunks.

The envelope contained two 1964 halves, eight 40% halves, a 1936 Buffalo nickel, and a 1928 $2 bill. Be nice to your tellers.

I have tellers like that at one of my dump banks. They save me everything they think I might be interested in and I take it all even if I am not. I get tons of older 80's-60's paper currency, nothing in outstanding condition and I just spend it, in time I might get something good. I have been given rolls of halves, which netted me 13-40% and they even had something like 35 or so Ikes at one point saved for me.

Be nice to the ones that are nice to you, exactly. I'm always nice, professional, well dressed, good posture, smiling, say please and thank you and da like. I expect the same thing back.

Nice! It seems as if the tellers around here prefer to "spread the wealth" of finds, regardless of how nice a customer is.

So...we're supposed to be nice to tellers, and not report them, right?

Nice extra score from the teller's envelope. I don't save paper money but, a few days ago a regular teller at my main pick-up bank asked me if I had an extra 100 dollar bill. When I did she gave me a 1950 series D hundred dollar bill, H03838428A, which looks like it has never been folded. She said it was on the bottom of the pack she had just opened. Like I told my wife if nothing else I want the teller to know that I will take anything she finds and saves for me, hopefully next time it might include a little silver too.
