The '76 is worth a buck or two the other not so much more than the $.50 but ya most of us keep em as long as they are iin better shape- and ya they are pretty rare finds imo- ive found less of them then ag so congrats

Finished the box found 7 total others were duplicates of the 4 I posted

Wow 7 proofs in two boxes is pretty crazy- hope next time you find ag

Yea, still skunked on any AG but think im goin to bank and pickup 3 boxes of nickels for the weekend.

Those are great to find when you're first starting out, especially if they're in good shape. After a year or two you'll tire of the proofs but for now keep 'em and start a collection

Redbook price for most clad PF-65 Kennedy halves is at least $4. Ebay item 261270927144 has 10 going for over $3 each. Shouldn't these finds be worth at least $1 each?

No, because there is no demand for impaired ones.

They look gold plated. Probably not worth much but they are really pretty. Nice find either way.

I had two boxes together that we're loaded with a proof collection dump. I got a nearly complete set from those two boxes. I kept them. Lots of duplicates too.

If nothing else it is interesting. Anyone can buy a proof set but can you FIND one?!
