A couple of days ago I was told by a bank near my house that I could buy the half dollar bag from their coin machine once it fills up. I asked and learned it was close to full, so I brought in enough to fill it. However, after it was filled, I was told they couldn't sell to me due to company rules. I asked if I could glance at a little and trade a few half dollars from those in my pocket. They were hesitant, but let me look at a few handfuls (about 45 seconds of looking). In that time I picked out 1 Franklin (1963-D) and 3 - 40% Kennedys (1966, 1968-D, 1969-D).
They also stated that they had had previous conversations with district higher ups on this very subject and were told it was a fireable offense for them to sell the bag or possibly even to do the exchange.
What I found was out of maybe $50 of coins.... whoever gets the boxes that the bag generates should have a good day.... :P
Oh well still got a few of them for a minute's effort.
