I just picked up $250 worth of CWR in dimes. Produced 1 1945 Merc :icon_thumright:. A few of them were some old looking Worcester MA dime rolls but all of those produced a shunk. I still have one dime box to check out later tonight.

An early date Rosie sure beats a skunk. Well u found a first year Rosie and last night a found a first year buffalo. Today I got my first half box in a while and maybe I can get lucky with a first year keeper in that box too.....maybe '16 walker or a '48 Ben? Lol....not very likely.......but maybe I can get lucky with a first year Ken or two.

H$H!

Or a 71' ken :laughing9: just joking, good luck, I hope your box is loaded!

I just picked up 4 boxes of halves. It appears, I got someone elses dump! All 4 boxes were open and the rolls were MWR repacked. Not good. I just dumped those and will be picking up more Friday.

Why do some people on this site call skunks 'shunks'? I originally thought it was a typo butbhave seen it numerous times already

I know my stupid ayutp correct goes wacky sometimes and put weird words in place, some times we just don't care, we know what everyone means, even when it happens. HH, maverick.

Just finished a box of halves. Ended up picking up 3 1968's for my collection. Also found a beat up 1982 proof which is probably worthless but i like holding onto the wild proof coins.

Nice to finally find some silver. Jan was a shunk month for me. Adding almost 0.5 troy oz to the stack and that is all that matters! Hope everyone is well and stacking.

My last two boxes of halves were good to me. Box 1 contained 1 90%, and 4 40%. Box 2 contained a 1967 that was in pretty amazing shape. Looked like it was just minted.

Hey hunters,

Today's results from 1 box of halves: 1 1969, 1 1967, and 2 1964 quarters found in the coin machine! Pretty lucky find. Also I found this beat up 1976 bicentennial half dollar, it stood out rim checking the rolls as silver, not sure if this is a silver coin or not? Never gotten one like this before. Can someone give me any input on it? Thx guys.

I can't see a mint mark on the 1976 so it wouldn't be silver. It would need to have an s mint mark to be silver although they made clad with s mm as well. Use sound test to check it and it should be clear weather or not it's silver. I'm on my phone so I might be missing if there is a mm.

Hey Mercury,

The quarters were a nice find and surprise. As for that bicentennial half dollar, this one really stood out. In the roll is def appeared like a 90%er, it has no mint mark which def leads me to believe it is not silver even though it really appears as such!
