Ok, so technically we weren't roll hunting, just going through a collection of every penny I have come in contact with for the last ~10 years. Wife helped out, and we still have more sorting to do, but had two interesting finds tonight. Found a 2001-S penny and a 1949 Canadian penny. The omnipotent google tells me the 2001-S has to be from a proof set. Probably not worth much, but it was cool to find something that made me go "wait a minute..." Hoping to finish sorting in the next few days and get my folders pretty well filled up. Will post if we find anything else interesting.

Sweet! I got a 2002-s a year or two ago. I had a to do a double and triple take when I saw the S on that coin!

Pennies are always a good stand-by for when the families of skunks invest your home. Sorting out the coppers, wheaties, and an occasional proof is always exciting. I keep a bag of pennies on hand for whenever I need a pick me up.
