Found this in a roll tonight. Could this be from the mint or just very worn. The rim is pretty distinct but the back is almost non existent. The front you can barely read the date (1990 D )

Looks like someone covered that die in grease just to see what would happen...

What does the reeding look like? Is there still reeding on the edges, or is it smooth? If it is smooth then that one has spent a lot of time in the Vegas slot machines.

That's a very worn down grease filled die error, when I find greasers like that, I just toss them back for others to find.

Its the first one I have found. Its going to my 8 yr old son. He wants to collect errors.

Very nice, glad you could appreciate it :) I have some grease filled die coins too, don't get me wrong, they are neat, but I only keep the lesser worn ones.
