Had some rolls of Nickels I had been neglecting to go through. I decided to finally open them and found some goodies! My first buffalo nickel 1938 D along with an AU 1938 S Jefferson!!amazed at the condition of this coin it's great! Also was a 1945 war nickel to top it off! There was $30 in rolls altogether.

Also, what would you guys grade the buffalo nickel? The details are great but it has that brown color on the front of it...

I'm jealous - the '38S is the last coin I need to fill my Jeff set. It would go perfectly with the AU '39d & AU 50-D I found. Nice snags!

the buff will look much better after a gentle scrub of wet baking soda paste with a soft toothbrush. figure Extr. Fine at $5. the 38S due to weak pillars and triangle base likely Very Fine at $2.50. demand for HQ and scarcity could raise the values a bit. nice saves
