Who else collects 2002-2016 halves?

IMHO they will have little value over face. I save one from each mint for every year and that is it. If I saved all NIFC's that I found it's possible I would have more clad than silver.

I don't collect them, but I keep them. I think of it like marking coins. If I get a box with no silver but NIFC's, I know I'm not at least 100% searching my own dumps. I dumped ~$1,500 worth of NIFC's last time I moved.

Only thing they are good for is filling a hole in a coin folder. They will never be worth anything other then 50 cents. You can save them but to me your just tying your money up for no reason.

Well hell, if I am the only one collecting them then they are going to be worth a fortune if everyone else keeps throwing them back :)

I started collecting them. Then after a few months I had way to many of them. Since you are finding them they are no longer uncirculated and will always only be worth .50
I keep one each for the coin folders.
Now all I have to do is get myself to toss back ALL the clad proofs thatb I have.
