First Hunt for 2016 Brings Nice Results!

I went out and got only box of pennies as the bank was about to close and I didn't want to annoy them too much, as that is the only place I go for CRHing. My average per box for wheaties has been around 15, but today I got 20! Included in the wheaties was a 1909 VDB! My first! That was my only pre-1940 but that was okay with me. I also got 5 Canadians, the oldest one being a 1940. Not a bad hunt. Was thinking about going on Monday. Will keep you posted if I do. HH!

1909 vdb is a great find. Worth $15 and up.

It's sooooo nice to find a 1909vdb, but I bet you looked 2 or 3 times to see if it was an "s"? I have yet to find my very first s also. Have not found a vdb in the past two years.
