Congrats. It's a pretty cool feeling to pull one of those from the wild for face value.

Thanks... Just the opposite for me. LOL. I got a 64 dollar out of a tray at a small bank a couple months ago...

Indeed!!! I had bought 15 of the rolls as the bank closed yesterday - the 64 and 67 were in that batch... first thing in the morning I cashed in those rolls at my dump bank and then headed there to get the other 35... I was so anxious to see what was inside that I sat down in the shade at a bank across the street and opened them there... the Walker was in the 4th roll... I was ecstatic! :icon_thumleft:

Congrats on your first walker! I still remember my first. It is not too often that we get a box with that kind of variety in it anymore either.

Thanks, BuffaloBoy! Lost in the excitement was the impaired proof 92-S half I also found in that box, along with 9 NIFCs.

Finished up a box today... included my first ever Walker!!! A 1943-S. Also had a 1964, 1964-D and a 1967.

:icon_thumleft: Congrats on your 1st Walker. It sure enhances the thrill of the hunt when you get a first find of a certain type of coin. Hope you find many more.

Thanks, Gary. I kept seeing other people finding Walkers and Franklins and was wondering "why can't that be me?" And then yesterday when I pulled the 64 and 67 out of the original 15 rolls, I thought to myself (as I thought of how quickly I could get to the bank today to get the other 35 rolls) "well, if it's going to happen, tomorrow just might be the day." And lo and behold, it was!!!

Thank you, and good luck on that Barber! I'm still looking for my first of those in ANY denomination.
