100_2052.JPG Just wanted to add a war nickel or two to my collection. I usually do dimes consistently though. I got the one and only box they had at my pick up bank, and it was a well abused looking oldie. I know it was the only box, because I went back to get more and only got bank wrapped. My first nickel box purchase yielded 12 Buffalo nicks 1 war nick and 2 Vs 1903 and 1907. The second purchase gave me 2 more war nicks. I also bought my usual 2 boxes of dimes, they got me a very worn 1927 a 1945 and 52 and 56 Rosies. Scooorz! Great weekend roll hunting.

It's incredible that so many war nicks are still out there. I couldn't believe coming up with 3 so easily. Dimes should be picking back up now though for me anyway. It was a tough summer with many skunks. I did roll hunt my oldest coin though this summer. I got a nickel out of a dime roll. I pulled an 1866 3 cent nickel a couple months ago. Awesome.
