Padded envelope. If they are in a flip, then they are fine by themselves in the padded envelope. If they are loose, then wrap them in tissue (plain, non-lotion variety). Place in padded envelope and send first class. If you want to "protect" yourself and the recipient, then you can add insurance and delivery confirmation.

Use mylar or nonplastisized flips as they will not react with the coin metal, use a padded envelope, delivery confirmation and insurance if you can't afford their loss, in the rare event that it might happen. JPsCorner is a good place to purchase mylar flips and you will have them in two days after you payment clears.
