i believe this piece is an antique english candle reflector. it came from an estate with a lot of strange and fine european antiques (this was one of the only pieces i could afford). the main surface is stamped PATENT 4 times with some pretzel shaped marks. wondered if anybody had seen such a thing before or knew who might have made this... somehow it's a little odd compared to other candle reflectors i have seen online. about 4.5" H. any general thoughts about this piece?

I would have to say a very nice one as well. Pretty neat.
