That was a great nickel box. Never seen an old Canadian nickel.

I just picked up $200 in nickels. I probably won't be able to go through them for a couple weeks. I'll let you know how I do.

Finally finished my $1000 in quarters. Only one silver (1942), nothing else interesting.

It surprised me as it started very slow in the first 15 rolls maybe 3 pre 60 nickels. No silver till the final 20 rolls.

Good luck with those nickels ! Look forward to your posts on your finds.

One's better than a skunk, I've had those. Better than lottery tickets, losers are still money!

1 box brinks nickels no Silver, no Buffs did get 2002S in about AU, 1960D with steps, 2x 1954P blue damn near perfect. Along with 46 pre 61. '38 thru '61

Nice ring...I'm still pretty new to dirt fishing, but it's fun. When I started metal detecting, I bumped into CRHing and has been the dominate hobby over the years. Congrats!

Today was easy day took the ex out to do her shopping again. Got a fistfull of Pennies, and nickels out of the Coin star nothing special.

Just back from vacation. I've gone through your log for the last week and it looks like you've done great with the nickels. I had a really dry streak with nickels for about six months and gave up on them till this spring. my first $200 i got a few, but it seems that you get one or more every time out. You have the touch. also. congrats on the ring. question, do you sell the rings you find, or keep them? just wondering...if i ever find one. All the best.

Hi Grace ! Hope you had a great time on Vacation! Nickels have been easy for me mainly because I hit them a lot. Got another War and 3 buffalo's today. The first ring I found I gave to a niece that was 18 years ago (she's in college a freshman now). That was my last till this year. I now have a collection going of 7 -1 gold,4 Silver, 1 unk. and a plated thing. Don't think I'd get more than melt value so no plans to sell yet. Was hoping for a ring today.... Didn't find one but got lots of trash, and some interesting artifacts. Will be posting pics in the other thread soon.

1 Box Brinks nickels 1925P,1935P,Dateless buff, 1943P War and 42 Jeffersons '39 thru '61 nice box.

This is the weeks haul for sorting and classifying also making a folder for my niece's son and daughter. Maybe half fill it so they can try the hobby
