hey pvillehunter the laws that have come down from the courts slash the inviropigs are unjust as public land belongs to us we the people the state of California had know rights to close down the dredging they had none at at all they only did it to appise the dam inviropigs and to line there pockets with bribes we the people have the right to prospect and to use are public lands the way god intended us to use them and as u can see we are being fought on every front the USFS @ BLM along with the states inviropigs under the directions of the united nations agenda 21. these laws that impede on are rights to use are public lands are in fact unlawful i fore one applaud Vini fore taking a stand and doing what is right and that is to stand up against the tyranny and unjust laws he made a stand to do what is a god given right to do in the pursuit of happiness i just wish we could all come together and hundreds of us gold miners would make a stand and do a dredge in on the klamath river and just line the river from bank to bank fore miles with dredges and just start mining in protest to the unjust laws.

Hoser isnt a keyboard commando by a LONG shot! he has done more to fight for our rights than most all of us together!and he still knows more about the laws and the broken laws than all of us combined!

And then they will just come in full force, keep you from leaving, write everyone up and take everyone's equipment.

If they think that it might become dangerous then before you know it people are getting maced, tased and arrested.

Authority doesnt like people rising up in mass like that, they will squash anyone who does and this usually hurts your cause more than it helps.
Anymore it has to be done legally, those radical days of getting things done by protest and mass law-breaking gatherings is over, now you just get beat up and thrown in jail with yet another hefty ass fine to pay and not a sympathetic ear to hear your case.

Great ways to start things now is with a petition.
Change.org is a wonderful place to start a petition.

neo sorry to hear that all u think is a petition will do eny good it wont it will be throw ed in the garbage like the rest. and no if u get enough people to do a major dredge protest on the rivers and bring attention to it u would get results they hat it when the people rise up to take bake what is a god given right and if it came down to them fighting are trying to beat us are take eq from us then it is time to show them that we can also fight.so tell me how much good has all thos petitions worked out fore u and making pleads to the socialist u all have there in Sacramento. its time to wake the hell up and realize what is happening around u they are literately taking every dam thing away from us and yet every body says o it will get better the next election . it hasn't got better it has gotten worse and it will continue until we the people make a stand and say no more.

u Neo and u hoser jon saying it wont work and its just a pipe drem from u hoser jon let me tell u u dont ever know untill u try it. Jon u may have done a lot to help the cause and u may now the laws to help us miners out and for ur help i applude u in that. but dont ever say to me itss a pipe dream. as i have staded i to have been doing what i can to help to stop this madness and i have made some headway but we still have a long road ahead of us.

Well you can get maced, tased, beat, stripped of your equipment, thrown in jail and heavily fined.
Thats just not for me.

Law enforcement does not just GO AWAY because you have the upper hand on them for a moment, they call in for backup.

I am not giving up on this, I am just simply not going to do it that way.

A good choke point would have to be at least a halfmile downhill from parking and under transmission lines to preclude helos. Where did you have in mind?

Whelp I use to street race in Sacramento for a few years about 10 years ago and you would learn how the police would try to block you in without letting you know they were coming for ya.
We had spotters, police scanners and would remember the area's that had the most police activity.

When they come in force, they really do come in force if you piss them off enough.

I have seen the same exact things that I said happen to large groups of street racers and spectators alike.

That is the most illegal thin I have ever done, I dont even drink (Never have, never will) so I guess I had to do something wreckless. :P
4 years of doing it came to an end when my first Daughter was born.

You might say that they are two different things but its all the same to the police when it comes to a group breaking the law.
Of course street racing will never be legal, but at this point and time they are both illegal and that is what I am talking about, the NOW.

I am still crazy about cars but I do have the memories of what they will do to stop you and the group that you are in.

It doesnt take much to block you in to some of these access points, a couple roads are easy to cover.
It doesnt matter if it is a $40,000 dollar 1970 Mustang Boss 302 or a $4,000 dollar Dredge, you dont want to leave your property so you just stay there with it, unable to do anything until they load your stuff up and load you up.

No one I have ever known that has been caught in a raid like this has every been paid.

The students at UC Davis that were paid out were paid because they were pepper sprayed during a peaceful campus protest, they did it because UC Davis raised the tuition fee's so much that it caused some students to have to drop out because they could not afford it.

I respect you a great deal Kruger but I dont think calling them hippies because the college wanted to squeeze out poorer students is a good reference of them.

I am a college guy myself but had to take this semester off because I could not afford it, my wife did too.
If you dont have the bog fee waiver all of your Fafsa money gets eaten right up depending on your units and if you dont have other grants or loans then you are screwed.

Anyways, getting off topic a bit. :}

I am still not for a mass breakage of the law as a protest, no matter how wrong that law is there are other ways about it.

Why would you break laws? You should absolutely NOT break any laws.

If you and dozen of friends were legally parked at a supposed illegal racing area doing nothing illegal, you might still get raided, no?

You can't help what radical environmentalists might do whilst that is happening.

Just like dredging, you can get a ticket for just being in the area and that means intent or spectator.
I was warned about a F&G warden up here that will ticket you for getting your feet in the water, stirring up silt and other bs.
Doesnt matter if your just panning either.

They have their ways to ticket you if they want.

Hello Fullpan @ Kuger i am knot as fermiler with that are of california as i am more inclined with oregon @ Idaho @ Nevada as that's were i do most of my dredging but what is happening in California with the ban there trying to do in Oregon @ Idaho so i think a it would be a good idea to do a dredge in on the klamath river some were those of u over there that's familer with the areas comes fowerd with Ur ideas and lets see if we can get the miners united together on this and maybe even the local mining shops also as everybody in those small towns have been hurt from the lost revenue from the ban. it high time we make a stand on this issue. lets put are heads together and see if we can make this happen. and if the police what to get ruff on peaceful dredgers then i say we know what to do. we have time to put this together as summer is a few months off. I would really like to hear what all u dredgers think is this something u would get behind and be a part of and support. are will u continue to wait and see? maybe i am just being wishful thinking on this i am just dam tired of loosing are god given rights to these idiots. if we don't Finally make a stand we will soon loose all of are rights and are rights to even go onto are public lands and we are already seeing that happen with the road closers and trial closers. so i ask again when are we the people going to make that stand?

For over 50+ years miners were protected by the Western Mining Council and also for 12+ the Miners Alliance-DO NOT ACCEPT copy cats as both gone. I spent 25+ in WMC as member, board member, and newsletter editor. Was co-founder,board member of Miners Alliance for 12+ years. Been to 1,000s of meetings, conferences, rallies, picketing, and stayed in the trinity river for 100 days after the ban man so DO NOT EVER SAY I AIN'T WALKED THE FRIGGN' WALK. I've ran many clubs as prez,vp,editor and claims manager in a couple of states also. The lies and bs of massive pay me clubs has killed any and all REAL miners advocate units and all that remains is carpetbaggers, wannabees with no experience or connections and pocket pickers ruining the dredge industry in numerous states. We spent almost 20 years getting CDFG to the negotiations table just to have PLP,GPAA,49r blow the whole thing to LL and back. Now your outta there and lost every right to dredge and never will ever get it back. Put up or shut up--I'll match any bet for a 5 year period that says not,not never and after my experiences dealing with bureauratz and environutz for longer than 80% of ya been alive back my bets as gotta make some more $$$ as cds and bond market deader than a doornail---John
