6" sounds fantastic but I sold my 8" and 6" so did not have enough hose left to do it that size. Have much more 4" than 5" so that's why so small. Tons a au 2 u 2-John

how much drop?

I didn't have a way to measure the drop but I estimate less than 10'. I will bring a builders level next time to measure it exactly.

I have to work out a few other things that affected the suction like the steep drop on one side and long slope up on the suction side. I need to move my high point closer to the suction end so material won't build up in the hose.

System worked well for no motors. I was very impressed. This was my first time setting one up so I have a bit of a learning curve still.
