Frozen ground will drive me to the Tidal line hints or tips for Novice beach hunter?

Being using NOX 800 field 2 wide open around old farm sites in CT, since June

I have no experience on Beach hunting

and hints or tips or links to previous posts, want to start studying in anticipation for Jan feb Frozen ground
looking for early relics and coins

I dont beach hunt often but when i do i dig it all....gold chains will ring up low on the VDI.

The basic rule for salt water beach hunting is: Use Beach 1 for all but water hunting. Use Beach 2 for water and/or severe black sand. Run the sensitivity up as high as you can, but, still keeping it stable. Dig every non-ferrous repeatable sound.
