Lost dog tags sent back to WWII Vet's Family --65 years later

FREMONT -- About 65 years ago, Eugene Alois Mosser lost his dog tag when he was in Germany during World War II.

Recently, his family got it back.

John Kelley, of the Sandusky County Veterans Office, said two German women were digging in their yard one day in the village of Emmersweiler, near the French border, when they found Mosser's dog tag. The tag, which looks new, has Mosser's name, blood type and a name and address for next of kin.
