Thats funny Bill I like that one. Too many times we forget the "old ways" I learned a lot from my grandmother. She even cooked up some "moonshine" during prohibition. Or shine or corn whiskey as she called it. When the old folks die........time dies with them. I was raised during my early years by my grandparents. They were better to me than my own parents. I learned early on the value of a dollar and what honesty, integrity and family values really meant........things this country needs to go back too. Theres a few politicians I wish grandpa could take out by the woodpile if you know what I mean........haha

Scott,

Good tune buddy....another one for the pot....

Joan Jett - I love Rock and Roll...

Now, Now, Fellow Critters....

We shouldn't provide positive reinforcement for abhorrent, ahem, Behavior.
Should we?
Think of the children!

There is a possibility of providing an aura of grandioseness....
Or worse....
GASP!
Encouragement of megalomania!
:laughing7:
There.
I've said it.

"What's that mean, Scott?"

(Glad you're back, Buddy! :headbang:)

You are invited to come out and celebrate the ground breaking of our first Official Veteran Build designated as the "Home for a Hero" project. Thank you so much to our many donors for making this possible. Visit our web site to read the news release in its entirety.

An example of the homework.

Dealing with Isobars, Atmosphere, partial atmosphere, temperatures and....
Damn! I hate Science.

I prefer to experience Nature on my OWN terms!
(In my Mountains....)

Too much extraneous crap to learn and know....

But,

I MUST know it.....

And your Holiday?

Best,

Scott

It has come to my attention that I have offended a Critter member with a post previously.

I Wish to state that I have never intentionally meant to cause discord with my posts.
I may have pushed the envelope once or twice,
But, Believe me,
I have NEVER meant to hurt any one.

As of now,
I will cease posting here.

To those I may have unintentionally offended,
I am sorry.

Scott I find this to be ridiculous. You are who you are. You are one of my great friends and I think it insane that a human being can't speak without hurting someone's feelings. Come on tighten up people. Do you think I would have made it 30 years in the military or lived thru countless combat incursions if we had to stop and be politically correct in everything we did ? Come on really? I still love ya like my Vet brother Scott and all of your stories. I hope you come back. Hmm same thing happened to Crispin he got tired of people makes you think.....,..,,

Hey I learned the song goes,"got brash in pocket".
How many years have I been thinking some one had got a hold of the brass ring and was singing brass in pocket. Ahh well.

Here's on for Scott.

Scott,

I don't know what the issue is/was but we all manage to rub others the wrong way at times.....just part of all living in the same boat.

You're more than welcome to continue participating on the thread....besides I need a backup for tracking down good music....lol...

Regards + HH

Bill

Offending people is a part of life. If people are too sensitive to let the small stuff go then perhaps they should look towards a more internal source. "Don't sweat the small stuff. It is all small stuff."
