Still have my cycle endorsement.

Don't know about that wrecked hawg Scott.
New forks, fender, wheel and tire ,handle bars just to start. Rear tire may be flat spotted depending on the conditions of the bad event.
Engine may have been subjected to a variety of factors too when bike was whoops-ed, from red line revving till killed, to no oil due to position.
Lots to look over, frame, sway bar if equipped or what passes for suspension and it's method of mounting for anything out of spec..
I've found a crack in a frame a buddy did not know he had and his is a well cared for bike, unwrecked....

Guess I'm better at breaking them, but have had to maintain them in the past when the couple nearest dealers said "we're servicing newer(hinting modern) bikes".
Home thermostat wire is not really hazardous as dual point wires ..right? Sure worked good.:occasion14:

I closely looked at the front forks and they appear to be OK....

My first thought is for sure:

A seat.
A new front rim, fender, handle bars and spokes.

Battery? Oil change?

Maybe another grand?

What's it worth?

To me?

More pics soon...

Best,

Scott

Hey Bill! I've just been scrambling to get ready for winter, the whole time wondering what is wrong with my head. I should be in Florida full time! Lol! What have you been up to? Got your annual arsenal of snowballs planned out yet?

Diesel,

Glad you still remember my snowball post...lol...

And yes you should be in Florida instead of freezing your butt in the North Country.

For my friends up north - -

It had been snowing for hours when an announcement came over the intercom: "Will the students who are parked on University Drive please move their cars so that we may begin plowing."

Twenty minutes later there was another announcement: "Will the twelve hundred students who went to move 26 cars please return to class."

I'm certain that I can do the mechanics on getting it running safely again;
The issue is what it would be worth....:dontknow:

NADA value?
Kelly blue book?

But, you are very much in tune with me.

I may get attached.

I saw the owner on Monday and he forgot to check on the title.

I said no rush, I'm a starving college student. Perhaps I could work a few weekends for you pulling parts to reduce my cost.

He seemed receptive!

Don't want to sell too deep into my currency collection. 8-)

Best,

Scott

Still no word on the Harley.

No chess set yet, either.

Did I mention that I'm a Locksmith?

Hope all are well!

Best,

PS.

Just sold a crispy 1953C $5 US Note. Proceeds go into the "Harley Jar."

Gonna hate to part with it but, when I ride that Harley, I'll fondly remember it as I do past wives....."I'm doin' better without you!"

Scott,

We used to start our own plants from seed but it seemed to be a hit or miss thing....most now we buy the plants at the local market and transplant.

It costs a bit more but the odds are in our favor.

Had the song,"a little patience"by guns and roses stuck in my head for days.
Got to change it!
Being Saturday morning cartoons are a world away from what they used to be....
I'll just play one of those stick in your head brief schoolhouse rock vids they used to toss in. For the change in my head I hope, and for nostalgia.

Hang in there 2G.F. !

Nostalgia?

Yep!!:icon_thumright:

I use starts. It's already growing, thumbs up!. This year I will be using a large greenhouse. The low last night...here...was 48. I'm gonna havta quit wearing shorts. With a greenhouse I should be able to grow year round. I have friends whom can help me with a watering system, computer based, PH monitors. Mary jane is legal now in Oregon, so....they have green thumbs! I like the fact if the PH is off....water is needed a computer can let me know. Not that I cant do it myself...but hey Lets get modern!!

What happened to us. Today I was helpless. It's odd to read reports across the vast forms of media. But it's different when it happens to you. When you are helpless........,today I was helpless.....Today, I wept long and hard......... What happened to us?

I was also helpless today.
For my own needs, yet I was able to provide help to another.

Being helpless does NOT mean that you can't provide help to others.

It just means another day as being a "Friend."

My Best Wishes,
My Friend...

Scott
