Well it's been a while since an update but ex wife and I have been separated for over a year and a half and today the divorce was going to be finalized but her stupid lawyer didn't have the child support written in decree so next week she goes back to get it done. Thank god I am ready to get her on down the road and have my name taken away from a nasty woman like her.

Geez what is it with women these days that act like cheating is no big deal. I mean i will be the first to say i am a complete dumb butt for staying with my wife when i found out in 09 but gave her a chance. Well it went on after that and before long it was a different guy every 6 months. Well now its 2013 and she is still doing it. Just caught her in a lie lastnight and she acts like its all my fault that she does what she does. Eventhough i have never told her that she couldn't go somewhere or anything like that i sit home and watch the kids while she goes out. Well i started noticing it when she would hide her phone a lot and then one day she left it out and i looked. Omg i felt like going ww3 on who she was seeing

Feel bad for you. My first wife cheated- had to end the marriage for this reason, which was hard on me but especially for my three kids.
I remarried and am quite happy. I kept friendly with my ex. and we're still great friends which is best for all of us. It can be done but it's not easy when you're going through it.. Good Luck

so happy i left mine.the best thing to do is forget her and stay happy,i hope you get the kids though.its tough but worth it to leave em behind,ones like that anyway.i would of not stayed as long as you did.its been awhile for me,now the hardest part is too keep cool when your son gets suspended for skipping school or for phone issues.teen time is not fun

I remember when my current partner did this crap to me. After I found out ,,of course I was all shaken up but then had a brilliant plan. I planned a get together of all my friends and their wives,, plus one very special guest.
That's right,,, I invited a female friend for myself. So while my partner was all smug about her soiree,, I pitched a small tent in the back 40 of my property and my "friend" and myself had us a glorious time doing,,, well you get the picture.

So the morning came and my partner saw us sitting around the tent, having morning coffee and chatting up a storm and proceeded to try to rip my friend down. Ehhhh,,, ain't gonna happen. I clearly stated what I knew and how I knew then moved back to finishing my conversation with my friend.

Well to make a long and convoluted story short,,, my friend had a great time,,, I had a great time,,and my partner had a crappy time after realizing she was not the only one who can do this crap. So she finally saw the "light",,,admitted her wrong-doing then profusely apologized to me. My friend was and still is a very good friend,,and yes,,,my partner and I are still together after a decade now,,,quite happily too I must add.

I do NOT recommend anyone doing this,,, but it worked for me.
Still to this day I smirk when I think of this interesting evening.

Probably, would be right in line, with the number of men, who cheat.
It's not a gender exclusive trait....... and there's usually 3 sides, to every story........

well estimates are that 1 in 3 men is raising a child that is NOT his --(unknown to them of course ) so do the math -- that's 1 in 3women that had kids that were not their husbands ----so the cheating rate is most likely about 50% if not more...and at least 33%

And, what about the men, that get multiple women pregnant, and raise NONE of their own children?
I worked with a girl, her 19 yr old baby-daddy, had 5 kids, with 4 different women......
But yeah, cheating wives should probably be stoned or hung, or something that protects the mans, errr......

I think that if a man can "prove" that a child is NOT HIS * THAT A WOMAN SHOULD OWE "REVERSE CHILD SUPPORT" --EQUAL TO WHAT HE WOULD HAVE HAD TO PAY IN CHILD SUPPORT--FROM THE TIME THE CHILD WAS BORN TO THE TIME THE FRAUD WAS FOUND OUT --AND THAT NO SUPPORT BE OWED BY THE MAN FROM THE TIME THAT THE FRAUD WAS PROVEN.. AND THE "MOTHER" SHOULD ONLY BE ABLE TO COLLECT FUTURE CHILD SUPPORT FROM THE "REAL" FATHER OF SAID CHILD / CHILDREN...

SADLY IN MANY STATES EVEN AFTER "PROVING THRU DNA TESTING THAT A CHILD IS NOT YOURS -- YOUR STILL REQUIRED TO "PAY CHILD SUPPORT" -- AND THE MOTHER CAN CUT OFF VISITS BECAUSE --YOUR NOT THE ACTUAL"FATHER" OF THE KID --SO THE REAL; DAD GETS TO SEE THE KID --BUT YOU PAY FOR THE CHILDS CARE...GROSSLY UNFAIR..

Sometimes, they're not dumb, just young, desperate and/or disillusioned.
I know of a lot of women, said they married the first man who proposed, just to get the heck outta their parents homes.
That usually turns out pretty well....... not.

PPl, no matter what sex, play a lot of stupid mind games, or are genuinely misled, hoping, believing, and longing for the best or better.
It is sad, when life takes, those downhill turns........ for all involved.

A sober congrats. Winning ones freedom from a non agreeable former spouse is worth the cost.
Having children together can be the part that requires a civil attitude after a divorce. Not easy but the kids often know more than they are credited with.
Stay human and on the high road. Geez you can quit gritting your teeth and smile again.. Hooray!
I'm sure you know but should you become involved with someone else they are not to be compared to your ex..Cut the cards yes. But accusing someone of something they are not doing can be hurtful if we're not right.
Not in your case but just in case.
