posts like this remind me of 9-11 and the knee jerk reactions to that horrific event...

some building do not make up the America I live in...nor does some talking head on television or radio proclaiming the end of the world.

Although it looks bleak, there is always hope. We can hope adults take control of the checkbook and the credit cards? There will definitely be hard times as we are forced to live within our means though. I at least do not see fun.

I agree with Dave, there will always be hope, but what is needed is to have sane and practical people retake control through the voting booth and but some intelligent people in office. It has always been said that our elected officials are intelligent, and they may be, but while they might know have to gather and assimilate information....they lack the wisdom to know what to do with it.....We need a clean sweep in the next election, and some real soul searching when we choose our next election....but I fear that just like today, we will continue to kick the can down the road, and notsolve the problem. I hope that I'm wrong......Gary
