I hope it does more than even things out. The 11" coil on the ltd is already one of the deepest and most deadly combinations out there...even if it only adds an inch or so in depth, it will still be a beast.

That being said, I'll be extremely cynical until I see some good field reports. I had the 12x15 SEF and the 15x18 SEF for my E-trac and was underwhelmed.

Should be fun to keep an eye on,

Thanks Fisher for listening to your customers

Has anyone been able to come up with a consensus of average depth increase of DD 11" coil vs 10" Concentric coil for the Fisher F2?

I guess they've been on someone's beep stick for a week now. Any results from anyone?

8 years later reply..April, 2019, I bought a Fisher 15" DD and tried it on my Gold Bug Pro. It works. It detected a flat new quarter 12" deep in the ground. I set the lines on the detector knobs straight up, ground bal in all metal mode. Adj knob for slight tone. The tone barely changed when over the quarter, no number displayed. The tone tried to become a pop when I manually adjusted the ground balance +- 10. The Fisher 15" white DD coil is for 13 or 14 khz, possibly? The Gold Bug Pro runs at 19khz. Eh, I'll try it. 15" coil is VERY heavy! Thinking of dragging it behind me or a harness..yes, I'm after gold nuggets, trying a different approach.
Forgot....These 15" DD coils are $119 and change at Kellyco.. not $249!!!

Yeah.....anyone looking for a big coil needs to go with a NEL Tornado or Thunder ect. That Fisher 15" is rediculously heavy and not even worth the new and improved price point.
