I am thinking about trying to get one of these machines and wanted some feedback from any of you guys who have used one. Also what is a fair price for one of these? In order to get it I am going to have to either trade/sale my EuroTek Pro with 10" concentric coil for one or do you guys think I should just keep what I have? Thanks in advance for your answers.

I had one a few years ago. It was too sensitive to EMI to be usable in a park with TV/radio towers in the hills above the park. Had to turn it down to lowest sensitivity setting. Didn't keep it too long. No idea of what a used one would cost. First Texas will probably only repair these as long as replacement parts exist.

Do you mind me asking why you are trading your euro tech pro. Disappointed?

Well the ID Excel is a great light weight machine and the tones sound great the external speaker isn't loud so headphones is a must on it. In my test garden it gets the deepest target a 9" .69 cal CW mini ball with accurate ID. It double beeps with coins on edge and gives accurate ID so I think it will be a great trash and unmasking machine. I will let you know how my first real world hunt goes.
