As a Colt enthusiast and collector, that is a great find and buy. I would have had trouble not getting the shakes as I scrambled for my $2 also. You will get more than $75 bucks I would think. If it was to a Woodsman, I have seen them go for over $300. Congratulations, I wish I had found it and had known you had it before it got on the bay. Great find. T.

P.S. I found your auction and I am a watcher. Good luck with it.

It isn't for a Woodsman, it says Colt Automatic Pistol .32 cal. right on the box. Woodsman was .22, the .32 CAP is a small pocket pistol.

I think I found the gun it had a wire/metal piece in barrel which wouldnt allow it to be fires but is an autoomatic and needs a new barrel to be workable.

my dad had a woodsman and had to sell it in hard times back in the eighties I think. Still has the original box. I should tell him it is worth a few bucks.

Geez NJ Marty, do you find all of the cool stuff? Years ago I picked up a Colt Service Ace .22 automatic box with the booklet, purchase receipt and factory target signed by the employee that test fired the gun. Cost? $1.00

I sold it for over 200.00 and that was a negotiated price with a collector i knew. You can't lose for what you paid and eBay should increase the amount of interested buyers. Good luck!!

Thanks, I buy a lot of items and a lot of times they don't pan out. But there are those items you get to know after many years of this addiction, the ones that make you say to yourself ''I cant believe so many people looked through these items and THIS OMG THIS is still here"

No kidding. I found mine at the first day of an estate sale, a few hours in and I had just started hitting sales. The house was packed but nobody was paying attention to the little box on the kitchen counter
