Civil war amputation saw, quite a find. I guess it is possible that it was post Civil War, but either way, congrats!

image.jpg Tiemann is one of the larger manufacturers of early surgery equipment. They made high quality stuff and is very collectible. Here are a pair of flesh removal knives for amputation prep made by Tiemann. I bought them along with a few straight razors last year. It took me a while to firgure out what they were but once I did.....Pretty scary stuff!!
