Latest release in Au. Garrett AT-Gold upgrade for Australian ground conditions.

I do not know the technical details of the upgrade, reason being I did not obtain one of the first AT-Golds for comparison when it was advertised in our monthly Gold Gem & Treasure Magazine as the add. was expressed with US terms, conditions and $$, what we refer to as a dumping add............................ to be polite.

There was also several warnings on a local forum, of which some of us took heed
The first AT-Gold tested here was not compatible with our "Hot" ground conditions, to release it was an issue the Australian Importer/Distributor saw as being of NO interest or benefit to Garrett and their costumers. (good on him)

Tests, modifications and more tests were carried out by GMC in Adelaide Au. till a solution was reached.
Suggestions were made and accepted by Garrett the result is now incorporated in the Garrett manufactured Upgraded AT-Gold of which one is pictured above.

Good customer relation would be when the Garrett Advertising Department inform all their Authorised Dealers of the upgrades so the dealers are fully up to date with the product they sell.
It would also be appreciated if they had a comprehensive list of authorised dealers in Australia the present list is pathetic, a reflection of poor advertising management.
