Yes finaly my 5x8 could will be here this morning, as soon as it's here iam going back to the lake/beach to see what else I can dig up, it's been very good so far with the stock coil on the pro this will be a good test as I've found a fair but of old silver coins. Oldest is a 1907 dime!!

Hi Sask // I have the 5x8 on and probably wont take it off but I would like to have some more good compairasons with the regular coil not just "I think its better" I wonder if it gives up some depth in good clean soil ?? Perry

Well made mistake of trying to save a few dollars and try and get it in Canada , but has been one headache after another , until I finaly said I want a tracking number and no more lies and screwups , lesson learned

Guess what just made it!! Wow a lot smaller compared to stock coil , kinda feel like I have small coil envy with this on lol, well after lunch out to that same spot

Have to give an update on it.

Ok guys went to same spot for two hours and did very very well, firstly off the signals were sharper , and I could seperate targets very easily, pinpointing was easier , and I found no depth problems , I was finding tiny bits of wire at 7 inches , 22 shells rang loud, as did the silver quarters and dimes I found . Also I found an American penny with wheat on around it, is that what you called "wheaties"? Sorry for spelling mistakes but hands are cold from water , inwould not hesitate to recommend this coil to anyone
Also don't know what that thing is with the three flowers ? Broach? Gold?

Yes I will be keeping it on mine as well. Hard to her use to the size difference though lol , but I guess in some cases bigger ain't always better

Like Bart, mine doesn't come off either. Hey, I'm old and slow so it fits my style of detecting perfectly. Playing with the ground balance and knowing your machine can get this coil to go pretty deep. Yes, the soil means a lot too. But I am not looking to dig fence post holes, therefore I am quite happy with the depth on mine. If you are in a trashy area this coil can lock on a target very easily, remember that. But the biggest bonus is the weight factor, which I love.

The 5x8 is an awesome coil I think the pro should of had the option Serna like alot of us Atpro users keep em on
