Anyone know good gold panning spots near Houston, TX ???

im new to this and would really appreciate some guidance as to where
the good spots are around Houston, TX. wouldn't mind also teaming up with sumone
if they are interested.

I'm in Dallas and have the same problem.
What makes it hard in Texas is there are NO open Federal lands like BLM etc.
Almost all of Texas land is private. Not much in the way of known gold deposits in TX.

See if you can find a local chapter of GPAA. LOCAL CHAPTERS ARE FREE TO JOIN AND THEY
HAVE GROUP OUTINGS. Google GPAA and call them or write and ask about the nearest chapter
and contact info.
