Well I have been a member here for quite some time but I haven't posted in a while. While I am an avid metal detectorist and collect just about everything I have expanded my hobby. I recently purchased an existing Antiques & Collectibles business in my hometown. The previous owner is a life long friend but his age and health are getting the best of him so he decided to sell. He has been a collector of just about everything for the last 50+ years. All of the inventory was acquired with this business so there is no telling what is there.

So the reason behind my post is that I know many of you are collectors of other things so I might have what you are looking for. I have been putting some things on ebay but I would rather sell to the folks on here. I am going to list some of the general categories of the items I have but believe me there are literally 10s of thousands of items in there.

Some of the types of items include:
Bottles/Jars of all types
Glassware - Hummel, Hull, McCoy, Shawnee, Imperial, etc.
Knives - Case, Colonial, Edge Master, Barlow, etc
Small collection of coins & tokens
Alladin Lamps and other kerosene lamps
Books
Kitchen Stuff
Tools

Just about everything is in there. If you have a certain interest, please let me know as I need to move some of this stuff out the door to make room for new inventory.

The pictures just show a small percentage of the stuff that's in there.

Thank You!!

I appreciate all the support. It is definately alot of work. I have been trying to organize shelves and dust at the same time. There is so much stuff its overwhelming. I have a facebook page for the business. Please visit it and like it for updates on merchandise. You can search for it under 1893 Trading Post. http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/1893-Trading-Post/277105312337596

Goes4ever -- I do have alot of transportation tokens. There are not many coins there yet. I am in the process of buying some now. I'll take some pics of what I have and post tomorrow.

Jeff -- I have been there all week while on vacation and find a surprise everytime I move something. Its definately a drug for me.

Chug -- I think what you are interested in is my extra penny bowl. It is a cowboy made out of a horseshoe and bottlecaps holding a bowl.

It may be a long shot but if any of you have anything thing with Blanket, Texas on it I am interested in it.

Thanks again

Yes there is all three. I don't believe that the pocket watches are that old but I will take some photos this afternoon.
Thank you for your interest.

It is more or less a novelty. The barrel and mechanisms are metal but the barrel itself is filled. I don't believe it was ever a functioning firearm.

Here are some of the post cards that I have. The singles run from $1 - $3 each while the bigger ones have several postcards each i them. They are unused. I'm asking $4 each or $65 for all 19 of them.
