I've been thinking about getting a larger coil for my DFX. As you might know, I mostly hunt around old cellarholes and the fields surrounding these homesites. There doesn't seem to be heavy ground mineralization where I live.

I'm not sure which one I should buy.

There is a new Super 12" coil available which is only 0.9 ounces heavier than the coil I use now.

Or there's the Deepscan DD 1400...which is a 8" by 14" DD coil.

Normally I'd vote for the DD, but a smaller sniper coil would be more useful around trash to id on only one target at a time.
