I was Pre-Commissioning Crew on USS Carl Vinson (Plank Owner), and we carrier qualified the FA/18. Great plane. Still like Tomcats better though.

Great video, but I am wondering, If a drone can land on a carrier unassisted, why can't they use that same electronics to land an F-18 unassisted? Yes, the drone has passed the test. Frank
