Deal Island Maryland information wanted / needed

Hey all,,

A couple,,who are dear friends to us have moved to Deal Island, Maryland. Their home is right on the water,, well NOT directly on the water but if you walk out the front door and travel for 50 feet,,, the bay is there.

Are there any places on the island that would be conducive to taking a peek at with a detector? Where they live is VERY rural since they live ,,literally at "the end of the road" . Lots of scrub brush,,some open areas immediately close.

ANY information that y'all could provide me would be great. And I PROMISE to get pics up when we get down there in a few weeks, of the area and anything I may have the luck to find while there.

So where should I try? No biggie,,, It's just that I have no idea nor am I familiar with the area.

I would do a google search of the area to see if it has any past history. Also, how old is there property. Even if it is new and nothing in the history books, I would be tempted to run my detector for a while, you never know.
