Sad story... my "Mamma Dog" passed.

Brings tears to my eyes. People who don't have dogs do not understand the unconditional love you have. My beloved 10 year black lab Joy had to be put down in 2009 because of cancer. The last two nights she could not sleep or eat and I promised her it would end. Took her for that last trip and gave her love when she was going to the other side. Now this week we had to take Dotty, our black lab and beagle mix on that same trip. Dotty was old and could no longer walk without pain, so it was no longer fun walks. She went the same way.

Pretty darn quiet around without a dog, and I am getting old too.

RIP Mamma Dog

Thank ya all.... She's now gone and I'm moving on (no choice). But it sure the hell isn't the same out in my wood shop without her. I really hate talking to "myself" while discussing things over... Her and I always figured it out somehow. Again... it just ain't the same anymore...
