From your first post I thought it had a "40" and a "4".

It's on a paper map . Just trying to get insight on the symbol. I know upside down triangle has many meanings as well as 40 has many meanings , but I haven't found any info about them combined like this

The symbol was used by Guellmo Tusadado in florence Italy in the mid 14th century. This looks to be a more modern representation. We do not know how Tusedado used the symbol or if he even ever existed. There is no data or records to indicate that he did exist. Some have said the secret of the symbol died with him. Yet the modern representation indicates that their are still in existence those who know its meaning and continue to propagate the symbol for those who have eyes to see. Perhaps you may be one of them since this strange and arcane symbol has found its way into your hands. And now you have shared it with us to gaze upon it. I doubt any of us will ever be the same again. (All of this was just an imaginative guess. Don’t have a clue)

Oh, and welcome to Treasurenet..

this looks like a symbol we would use on a military indicating either a distance point from start, or a rally point number 40 along a route.
