Just wondering whet er it is possible to write your own software modules or would this amount to software theft. On my limited knowledge of metal detectors the good models probably contain eproms and eeproms has anyone ever read the code and modified it. What programming method was used.

Would this invalidate any warranty ?
What changes would you make ?
Is this illegal ?
Would anyone have a guide how to do it ?
Has anyone ever done it and how successful where you ?
Was the program encrypted ?
How did you crack it ?
What Software and Hardware are needed ?
Do the programs have many variables are they fixed or Variable or both?
Is there a data table ?

Thanks
