Greetings to everyone in the forum, I have a question about the garrett atx detector and a model that is very similar in appearance is the garrett recon pro 1000, I would like to know if someone from the forum has used it (recon pro) because I can get one for 300 usd, however garrett atx costs much more, if someone has used it can tell me if there are many differences or have functional similarities more than appearance, thanks

I have a recon pro. Its basically an infinium in a tougher housing. Be very carefull buying a recon. The coil cables deteriorate and are not visible unless the shaft is removed.A replacement is $450.Mine recently went bad and I think I am going to modify it to use infinium mono coils. The recon will not work with double d coils and has no iron check function.
