I am making a trip up to buffalo ny to visit some relatives and i will have some free time so am wondering if there is any gold in that area? I know that this area was covered by glaciers a few times. Did these glaciers carry and decent amounts of gold to this area where you could maybe head to lake erie and pan some black sand on the beach or is there spots where gold has been found? Could there be anything near the finger lakes?
