I can't believe I started out Hating the cast already.

So they start out Kicking someone off again already & it wasn't Americo "Chad Watkins" is out
"&^%$#@ Greed" ? Playing Survivor ? what next ?
immunity contests ?
only one I have respect for yet is John Self at this point.
as he's the only one who didn't vote to kick him off.
My guess next season they will screw him over.


when I first read Greenland sold their rights to the Ruby Deposit I felt sorry for them.
Now I'm glad they got screwed over

I watched it last night for the first time... eh it's def a TV show first, actual operations second. When they did the whole "we gotta vote someone out" crap like it was any other lame reality show, I went to bed. I believe they never got the rights to sell the rubies they took? I remember vaguely reading about a Canadian mining company that harvested a TON of rubies but never could obtain the rights to sell them (although I understand Greenland relaxed its restrictions to encourage economic growth)

Regardless, I'd give my left arm to go to Greenland

So chad is left behind because he wasn't showing commitment to the "company", like everyone else. You would think that the geologist guy doing all the reasearch (and throwing chad in front of the bus) would have knowlege that the area containing the Ruby deposit was closed to foreign mining companies before going to Greenland and would alread have another plan of attack. You spend tens of thousands of dollars getting everyone and all the equiment there and have to start over? Seems to me that is a more costly mistake than dropping a dredge a half mile out of position. We'll see how this plays out.

Let me get this right. They can't work the ground they found Rubies on and are now looking to find gold?? That's after you vote out the only guy that really knows anything about placer gold,,, and replace him with (a hiker at best) someone who knows nothing about mining period. What's to say that if they find anything in this new adventure that Greenland doesn't pull the same stunt they did with the Ruby area and close that? I can't even coax myself to record another one of these episodes. I have better adventures on my claim.

Since the production company is based in LosAngeles.

Thursday was a down day for me so I tuned in to see the crap I didn't bother watching after they 'uninvited' me to participate season II. If you focus on just the last two episodes of last season, you will notice a trend of conversations between Eric, Josh, Gator, leading to someone/someone's not coming back season III.

Did any of you notice the GUILT some of the Cast had [especially Americo] during the Vote-Scene? And then to have Jesse actually ask Chad if he was pissed off? Did anyone else get the feeling there was a PUPPETEER in the room? LMFAO

Yea what was that about ? asking "are you pissed off ?" looking for drama are we ?
Kudos to Chad for not playing that game

That's right Russ, Chad is a 4th generation Coloradan and runs Tin Pan Prospecting...guide service and some-time pay to dig site. Now that he's off the show I expect he'll be more active guiding and such.

First of all, if you are going to mine in Fiskanassett just 50 miles from NUUK [Greenland's Capitol and largest city], WHY in hell would you fly 400 miles north to Illullisat?
That tells me the editors screwed the pooch on that one.

Yea I tell ya, these guys had more together the last 2 years then they do this year.
it seems like they all left their brains at home ,
or are working under new writers.
last nights show was pure drama.
I wish I could swear here.
swearing it is needed to convey just how brain dead they came off.
and how irritating americo was.

it was worse then Todd Hoffman mining diamonds

and the previews for next week don't look any better .

Just a Prediction, But I have a Hunch I will be pulling out of watching any more
ice Cold shows after next week if they go any further backwards in seriousness.
