Today I found a nice creek and found some flakes :-) I also found some purple pink stones, any idea what it might be?

Thanks! Yeah :-) was a amazing feeling to see the shine under the black sand! Is the garnets worth to take care of or just crap?

i hang on to them but the small ones are not really worth anything. Get a rare facet sized one and it might be worth a little.

The large Garnets are valuable. The small ones are just plain cool to see under the loupe!

Garnets come in many colors and look great inside the glass pendants in mixed colors or even with small gold mixed in. Use anything and everything to your advantage. Keep your eyes open for mineral specimens, fossils and relics as they all to the pile in the end and sell easily. John

Nice work I would say that creek may continue to pay out for you... I love garnets; I know of one river in Nor Cal that always kicks garnets in my pan just about the same color and size as those.
