We killed this bill with a lot of hard work. The key is to go to the public hearings and explain to the lawmakers what a dredge is, how it works and that the environmental impact is less than significant. I brought in a 2 inch dredge and set it up right behind the senators desk at the hearing. They were all surprised and interested in seeing one and how it worked. That was the first time they ever saw one before.
This is the result when WE OURSELVES including YOU take action instead of sitting back and letting others do the work for you. No matter how big or small your sacrifice is to aid in the fight, when we come TOGETHER to fight for something important there is often a sacrifice, but no matter how intimidating that sacrifice may be, be STRONG and FIGHT! AND THIS IS THE RESULT!!! Listen to the Senator at the end who wants to come up and watch us gold dredge. It is amazing that we turned this issue around 360 degrees. That is the result of sacrifice!!!
