1973 class ring given back to owner - update

i found a 1973 class ring last month in a local park, after some help from sycamore h.s. i located the owner tonight. he knew he either lost it in a park or somewhere in his 64 chevy. it was lost in 1975, after 36 years the owner will get it back wed. night. i will attempt to post a pic of ring reunited with the owner, hh all.

i reunited ring with owner last night and it felt good to do so. he thanked me many times during our visit, and said he was going to tell the story to people at the lions club meeting he was going to after he left my house. i tried posting pics. but they must be too big or something

That's awesome Mark !!! I like hearing stories about class rings getting return them without thinking about $$ in melt..I hope one day I can find a lost H.S ring and do the same as you can't wait to see the pics of the return.
